The Design Process
1. Your free design consultation is a causal meet and greet for us to learn about each other. We will discuss the improvements you want for your home, any functional challenges, and of course, budget. This relaxed and collaborative experience will help us determine the best way to achieve your goal. We will offer many creative suggestions, including painting, furniture, window treatments, lighting, artwork and accessories. We think outside the box in-order to give our clients the most creative and personalized Design Soul-utionS for their budget.
2. Our next meeting will be with a licensed and insured contractor or carpenter to discuss your vision for the home. Whether a kitchen, bath or full home remodel, we will address the existing structural, plumbing and electrical plans in order to determine the best modifications. Once we've agreed on a layout, plans will be drawn up. From there we will review, make modifications if necessary, and then begin the process. After examining all our material options, we'll make our selections for appliances, cabinetry, countertops, fixtures, and floor and wall coverings. Depending on the scope of the project, it make take anywhere from 6 to 16 weeks for completion.
